Tarun Tour and Travel was founded in 2009 in the historic city of Panipat, Haryana, with a single car and an unwavering commitment to honest, punctual, and comfortable travel. What began as a modest taxi operation quickly grew — not through advertising, but through the trust and word-of-mouth of hundreds of satisfied families and travellers.

Today, we operate a well-maintained fleet of sedans, SUVs, and tempo travellers, offering everything from daily taxi rides to Delhi's IGI Airport, to week-long Rajasthan heritage tours. Our all-India tourist permit allows us to serve travellers across every state, from the Himalayan valleys of Himachal Pradesh to the golden sand dunes of Jaisalmer.

Our founder, Tarun Chandok, personally oversees every booking to ensure the highest standards of safety, timeliness, and hospitality are maintained — because for us, every client is a member of our extended family.

2009

The Beginning

Tarun Tour and Travel founded in Panipat with a single Maruti Esteem and a dream of honest, reliable travel. First client: a family trip to Haridwar.

2011

Fleet Expansion

Added two sedans (Dzire & Etios) to meet growing demand. Launched regular airport transfer service to IGI Delhi — now our most booked service.

2014

Tour Packages Launched

Expanded from pure taxi service to curated tour packages — starting with Golden Triangle (Delhi–Agra–Jaipur) and Shimla–Manali packages.

2017

Tempo Traveller Added

Acquired first 12-seater Tempo Traveller to serve growing demand for group tours, family pilgrimages and corporate outings. Groups of up to 14 can now travel together comfortably.

2019

Innova Crysta — Luxury Tier

Added Toyota Innova Crysta to fleet for premium clients, corporate travel and wedding hire. Introduced decorated wedding car service across Haryana.

2022

500+ Clients Milestone

Crossed 500 satisfied clients with a 4.9/5 average rating. Expanded all-India permit coverage to include Rajasthan, Himachal, Uttarakhand, and more.

2025

Today & Beyond
